And you installed a untouched/unmodified Windows 7, right? Did you have other activation tools installed beforehand? That could cause issues, you should only have one tool installed. Offhand you could try using IE & browse to which forces the genuine check. (after already installing Daz's Windows Loader 2.2.2). The whole free upgrade thing would only work with Daz's Windows Loader, I don't think you'd get a free activated Windows 10 if you use a KMS tool (someone can correct if I'm wrong?). Yeah that's going to be tricky then. You're going to have a rough time getting Windows Loader working if you don't even know what sort of activation tool was used on that system 3+ years ago. You're going to hate this advice but you probably should back up your data & then do a clean install of Windows 7, then Daz's Windows Loader 2.2.2, then upgrade to Windows 10.

I actually tested this last night on a VM and was surprised that it DOES work! I installed 8.1, installed AutoKMS with MS Toolkit, then upgraded to 10 within Windows and 10 was activated. Basically if you are running ANY activated version of 7 or 8.1 before upgrading to 10.

10 gets auto-activated. Icing on the cake (and most surprising thing I've witnessed).
