I removed the battery to my 2016 Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra and connected the jumper cable clamps directly to the battery leads. I turned on the ignition and nothing, so I pushed the boost button on the jumper cable fuse box and it turned over no problem, although a slight delay. I then connected the clampless starting harness, sold separately, to the battery leads and it started without any hesitation! I restarted it four times and was satisfied it works so I put the motorcycle battery back in and connected the clampless starting harness to the battery for easy access on the side of the road. I bought one xp-10 to use with mainly my 07 dodge diesel.

When i had a battery with a dead short i disconnected the battery and connected the micro start directly to the pos and neg cables and it started my truck with no issues. I was so impressed i purchased another one for my dad.
